My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
16.0 points overall
Blonde Bock (bottled)
Style 12 - Bock
- 16.5 points - Beer #29-2361, Moloka`i Wines and Spirits Unlimited, Kaunakakai HI, December 14, 1997
Deep golden, low carbonation, thick head. Sweet aroma, alcoholic, a little herbal. Thick, chewy, fairly strong. Nice malty flavor in the middle. Good big beer. 7% abv, bottled 11/10/97.
Style 17 - Vienna / Märzen / Oktoberfest
- 14.5 points - Beer #26-2102, Moloka`i Wines and Spirits Unlimited, Kaunakakai HI, August 2, 1997
Red-brown, low carbonation, good head. Caramel aroma, hint of hops, hint of diacetyl. Sweet, brown...like Newcastle Brown! Sweet all the way through, a little roasty at the end.
Style 15 - Classic Pilsener
- 17 points - Beer #26-2101, Moloka`i Wines and Spirits Unlimited, Kaunakakai HI, August 2, 1997
Bright bright golden, fairly high carbonation, nice thick head. Malty aroma with lots of spicy hops. Good body, big malt flavor. Fairly sweet. Hops show up late, for a clean bitter finish.
