Neat place. Lots of stuff on the walls...beer mats, bottles, old ads, flags, TVs, etc. Lots of excellent guest beers, including Theakston's XB Bitter...a rare treat!

Directions: From I-5, take I-210 to the "Old Pasadena" Colorado Avenue exit. Left on Colorado, right on Raymond. Crown City is on the left.

My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:

• Arroyo Amber Ale
  Style 4 - Mild / Brown Ale
  • 14.5 points - Beer #13-935, at the brewery, May 6, 1995
    Amber clear, OK head. Clean caramel aroma. Sweet, good caramel finish, but sticky.

• Black Bear Stout
  Style 11 - Stout
  • 19 points - Beer #13-936, at the brewery, May 6, 1995
    Black opaque, OK brown head. Very black nose. Very smooth, very black, very pleasant. Sweet finish.

• Mount Wilson Wheat
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 16 points - Beer #13-934, at the brewery, May 6, 1995
    Yellow, some haze, good head and carbonation. Sweet wheat aroma. Tasty American wheat ale! They had the courage to actually use some bittering hops.
