• Best Extra Stout (bottled)
  Style 11 - Stout

    Black, good brown head. Spicy hop aroma. Thick, black, bitter, burnt. Pleasant bitter finish.

• Black Crow (bottled)
  Style 4 - Mild / Brown Ale
  • 14.5 points - Beer #20-1566, Kona Wine Market, Kailua-Kona HI, September 12, 1996
    Brown transparent, good head. Toffee aroma. Brown malt and hop flavor. The label doesn't say Brown Ale, but it looks brown, smells brown, and tastes brown.

• Sparkling Ale (bottled)
  Style 5 - English-style Pale Ale
  • 16 points - Beer #20-1565, Kona Wine Market, Kailua-Kona HI, September 11, 1996
    Golden, good head. Very transparent, unless you pour some of the yeast. Spicy-sweet aroma, like nutmeg. Good body, very spicy flavor. Paris likens it to "butter squash". Big carbonation bite. Quite a lot of diacetyl, especially late.
