Straight to Ale Brewing, Huntsville, AL Review

Looking for a place to unwind and enjoy some of the finest craft beer in Alabama? Head over to Straight to Ale Brewing at 2610 Clinton Ave W, Huntsville. Since opening its doors in 2009, this prominent brewery has grown from a humble 3-barrel brewhouse to an impressive 55,000 sq. ft. haven at Campus 805.

You’ll feel the passion and craft in every sip. Remember the small brewhouse in Huntsville’s Historic Lincoln Mill? It was just the beginning of a journey that led to a 10,000-square-foot production spot on Leeman Ferry Road, filled to the brim with barrels of capacity.

Now, please make your way to their taproom, open Mon-Thurs from 11 am to 10 pm, Fri/Sat from 11 am to 11 pm, and Sun from 11 am to 8 pm. Whether you’re sampling pints or just soaking in the vibe, you’re in for a treat.

Fancy a behind-the-scenes look? Join their free brewery tours every Saturday at 2 PM. And keep an ear out for their merger with Druid City Brewing; it’s the talk of the town!

Straight to Ale is more than a brewery; it’s a story of growth, community, and great beer. So, next time you’re in Huntsville, pull up a stool and become part of the tale.

Straight to Ale Brewing Brewery Review

Good food, showcasing creativity in the kitchen with changing menu options. Their bacon-wrapped pretzel bites and the Bistro Burger was cooked to perfection.

The extensive selection of wonderful beers and craft cocktails provided something for every palate. The staff were friendly and hardworking, and the overall atmosphere was unpretentious and relaxed.

The breweries’ ambiance and offerings, especially the unique whiskey flight and amazing ribs, more than made up for it. Come for the beer, stay for the food – I highly recommend trying this place!

You’ve got to try Straight to Ale’s Monkeynaut IPA. It’s a cool tribute to those space-bound primates like Albert, Gordo, and Miss Baker. If you’re into citrusy floral hops, this is your beer. It has a strong malt body and a crisp finish that hits the spot.

Are you an IPA enthusiast? You’ll probably dig this brew. But watch out, it can be a bit overpowering if you’re not into that strong hop flavor. If you’re in Huntsville, Alabama, it’s a must-try, with its reddish-brown look and citrusy smell. Some people love the bitterness, while others are put off by the floral taste. It’s six bucks at various spots, and who knows, it might just become your favorite local IPA. It’s got a lot of fans, and it’s easy to see why!
