Buffalo Ale
Style 4 - Mild / Brown Ale

Red, clear, OK head. Smoky, dark-sweet aroma. Thick, dark, sweet.

Dunkel Weizen
Style 19 - German-style Wheat Beer
- 15 points - Beer #29-2320, at the brewery, October 12, 1997
Brown opaque, thick head. Smoky clove aroma. Thick, good wheat flavor, some cloves, sweet. Surprisingly clean finish.

Oktoberfest
Style 17 - Vienna / Märzen / Oktoberfest

Brown, clear, thick head. Malty aroma. Thick, malty, clean. Real nice balance. The first "not-fruity" Oktoberfest we've had on this trip.

Red-brown, OK head. Very smoky aroma. Thick, sweet...needs some alcohol character.

Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale

Amber, low carbonation, thick head. Aroma is just a little spicy. Nice body, sweet with a nice hoppy balance. Finishes clean.

Style 19 - German-style Wheat Beer

Yellow, fizzy, low head. Very clean aroma. Tastes like "Liquid Smoke". Sweet.

Yellow Rose Cream Ale

Yellow, fizzy, good head. Smells grainy. Good body, malty (but not grainy like the aroma). Finishes sweet and clean.
