• Carhenge Wheat
  Style 2 - Belgian / French Ale
  • 15.5 points - Beer #33-2940, at the brewery, June 29, 1998
    Dark yellow, hazy, moderate head. Orange peel aroma, malty. Medium body, lots of wheat and malt flavor, fairly spicy and citrusy.

• Flaming Crane Chili Beer
  Style 22 - Herb / Spice Beer
  • 15.5 points - Beer #33-2942, at the brewery, June 29, 1998
    Darkish golden, high carbonation, thick head. Some malt aroma. Medium body, big chili flavor but not too spicy. Nice malty finish.

• Good Life Stout
  Style 11 - Stout
  • 14 points - Beer #22-1858, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Black, very weak brown head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Weak coffee flavor, OK bitter finish.

• Homestead Pale Ale
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 14.5 points - Beer #22-1856, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Amber, low carbonation, big white head. Fruity nose. Fruity flavor fades during finish, leaving just a hint of bitterness.

• Oktoberfest Ale
  Style 17 - Vienna / Märzen / Oktoberfest
  • 14 points - Beer #22-1859, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Golden-amber, very low carbonation, good head. Slightly fruity aroma. Lots of fruity hop flavor, with a chewy malty finish. "Brewed to the Oktoberfest style, but with an ale yeast rather than a lager yeast."

• Platte Valley ESB
  Style 7 - English Bitter
  • 14.5 points - Beer #22-1857, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Red, some haze, big tan head. Fresh hop aroma. OK bitterness, OK hop flavor lasting through finish.

• Porter
  Style 9 - Porter
  • 14 points - Beer #22-1860, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Dark brown, OK head, lots of haze. Sweet, coffee aroma. Some bitterness at first, some chocolate in the middle, some chocolatey bitterness at the end.

• Red Top Rye
  Style 23 - Specialty Beer
  • 13.5 points - Beer #31-2568, Crescent Moon, Omaha NE, March 28, 1998
    Golden, low carbonation, moderate head. Pretty clean aroma. Medium body, flat, very very small hint of rye. Bitterish finish.

• Sod House Altbier
  Style 18 - German-style Ale
  • 15.5 points - Beer #22-1855, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Red-brown, OK carbonation, big white head. Pretty clean aroma. Good malty flavor, reasonably bitter, hint of roastiness. Some hop flavor in finish.

• Weizen (bottled)
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 14 points - Beer #22-1869, Kamuela HI, at home, October 5, 1996
    Dark yellow opaque, good head. Malty aroma. Sweet wheat flavor, malty. Not particularly Bavarian, but not a bad beer. Bought it for $3 at the brewery and brought it home.

• Whooping Wheat
  Style 18 - German-style Ale
  • 12 points - Beer #22-1853, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Golden, OK carbonation and head. Fruity wheat aroma. Good body, big wheat flavor, clean finish. No yeast character at all. Good beer, though...too bad. They claim it's a "German-style summer ale".

• Zlaté Pivo Golden Beer
  Style 15 - Classic Pilsener
  • 15.5 points - Beer #22-1854, at the brewery, October 2, 1996
    Golden, low carbonation, good head. Spicy hop aroma. Good body, big hop flavor and bitterness.

• Zoo Brew 25
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 15 points - Beer #33-2941, at the brewery, June 29, 1998
    Amber, moderate carbonation and head. Smoky, herbal aroma. Medium body, smoky, like roasted peppers without the spice. Green hop flavor, nice bitter finish. Brewed in honor of the 25th anniversary of Lincoln's top blues spot, The Zoo Bar.
