Steve and Clark's Brew Pub and Sausage Co. #2
Last updated: November 8, 1998
115 North Duke Street
Durham NC 27701
Opened November 15, 1996.
Brewer: Clark Nelson, Paul Buckner, Brat Kramlik.
1,300 bbl annual capacity.
It's billed as the "World's Largest Indoor Insane Asylum", and they'll get no argument from me. It's a fun place, decorated by card-carrying FREAKS. Skeletons, flying gargoyles, monsters, etc abound. The bar area unfortunately reeks of cigars, but with Liggett Tobacco right across the street, it kinda figures.
Also on tap: Miller Lite, Blue Moon Belgian, John Courage.
Steve and Clark's apparently underwent a change of ownership in 1998...it's now known as Tobacco Roadhouse.
My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
