• Black Lager
  Style 13 - German Dark Lager
  • 13.5 points - Beer #20-1653, Great American Beer Festival XV, Denver CO, September 26, 1996
    Almost black. Black malt aroma, almost. Blackish flavor, astringent.

• Minott's Black Star (bottled)
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 17.5 points - Beer #19-1503, Willow Glen Liquors, San Jose CA, June 12, 1996
    Golden, fizzy, OK head. Well-balanced malt and hops aroma. Bitter. Tasty, finishes clean. Real good body. "Double Hopped", whatever that means. Thanks to Paris Cunningham for bringing this beer to Hawai`i for me!
