My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
15.5 points overall
-
Bully! Porter (bottled)
Style 9 - Porter
- 16 points - Beer #31-2543, Willman's, Grand Island NE, March 23, 1998
Dark brown, fairly high carbonation, thick head. Fresh herbal hop aroma. Lots and lots of Cascade flavor! Some roast malt behind that. It's a lot like Sierra Nevada Porter.

- 14.5 points - Beer #4-228, 1993 Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland OR, July 31, 1993
Black, good brown head. Great roasty smell. Sweet. Not at all roasty like the aroma.
-
Dry Stout
Style 11 - Stout
- 15 points - Beer #31-2571, Crescent Moon, Omaha NE, March 28, 1998
Deep red, thick head. Smells mildly burnt. Thick, sweet, a little roasty, a little licorice.
-
Pale Ale (bottled)
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 16 points - Beer #33-2819, Willman's, Grand Island NE, May 30, 1998
Amber, moderate carbonation, thick head. Citrusy, malty aroma. Medium body, very fruity, fairly high carbonation, slightly metallic.
-
Pale Ale
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 16.5 points - Beer #31-2570, Crescent Moon, Omaha NE, March 28, 1998
Golden amber, low carbonation, good head. Spicy aroma, a little smoky. Big, bitter, nutty, smoky. Sure this isn't the Rye beer?
-
Ten Penny American Bitter (bottled)
Style 7 - English Bitter
- 15.5 points - Beer #33-2818, Willman's, Grand Island NE, May 30, 1998
Golden amber, high carbonation, thick head. Grainy, hoppy aroma. Smooth, medium body, malty, some fruity hop flavor. Fruity mildly bitter finish.
-
Unfiltered Wheat Beer
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 15.5 points - Beer #30-2459, Whiskey Creek, Grand Island NE, March 11, 1998
Yellow, some haze, low carbonation, thick head. Wheat aroma. Good body, malty wheat flavor. Not bad, as the style goes.
