My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:

  Style 2 - Belgian / French Ale
  • 17 points - Beer #29-2395, Kaunakakai HI, at home, February 15, 1998
    Dark yellow opaque, moderate carbonation, thick white head. Smells thick and sweet and alcoholic, a lot like Thomas Hardy Ale. Tastes thick, but not sweet. Quite a bit of carbonation. Lots of malt, lots of alcohol, lots of pleasant esters that come and go too quickly to pin down. Bottled 5/15/97, OG 1.080, FG 1.008.
