My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
14.5 points overall
Style 19 - German-style Wheat Beer
- 15.5 points - Beer #32-2687, Sheffield's, Chicago IL, April 6, 1998
Red opaque, thick head. Smells like melting plastic and bananas. Medium body, lots of banana flavor.
Golden Pale (bottled)
Style 14 - German Light Lager
- 9.5 points - Beer #32-2694, Siebel Institute, Chicago IL, April 7, 1998
Golden-amber, moderate carbonation, low head. Plenty of diacetyl in the aroma and flavor. Sourish very late. Sweet? Solvent. Bottled September 26, 1997!
Style 13 - German Dark Lager
- 18 points - Beer #21-1752, Great American Beer Festival XV, Denver CO, September 27, 1996
Dark amber. Very malty aroma. Good body, good malt flavor and finish.
