My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
14.5 points overall
-
Atta Boy IPA
Style 5 - English-style Pale Ale
- 15 points - Beer #26-2166, at the brewery, September 4, 1997
Brown-red, clear, nice head. Caramelly aroma. Nice body, nice balance. Not big enough nor bitter enough for the style, but it's a tasty beer. 7.3% abv.
-
Honey Wheat
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 15 points - Beer #26-2164, at the brewery, September 4, 1997
Yellow, some haze, high carbonation, OK head. Sweet aroma, a little smoky. Good wheat flavor, nice hop balance...for an American wheat beer. 3.9% abv.
-
Pleasanton Pale
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 13.5 points - Beer #26-2165, at the brewery, September 4, 1997
Orange, opaque, good head. Smoky-fruity aroma. Good bitterness, good malty character, pretty nice balance. A little drying at the end. 5.3% abv.
-
Zone 7 Porter
Style 9 - Porter
- 15 points - Beer #26-2167, at the brewery, September 4, 1997
Dark brown-black, OK tan head. Smells like coffee. Black malt flavor and alcohol. Odd, since it's only 3.8% abv.
