Closed not a moment too soon. Live Soup's brewer used to be Boulder Creek's brewer back when Boulder Creek was making bad beer.

My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:

• Hefeweiss
  Style 19 - German-style Wheat Beer
  • 11.5 points - Beer #6-390, at the brewery, September 16, 1993
    Yellow, some haze but not enough. Poor head. Phenols OK and apple esters. Clove could be stronger. Sweet, some clove, some sour. Fair body but low carbonation.

• Kim's Summer Amber
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 10 points - Beer #15-1088, at the brewery, July 8, 1995
    Dark amber opaque. Slightly perfumey. Thin, character-free.

• Porter
  Style 9 - Porter
  • 16 points - Beer #6-391, at the brewery, September 16, 1993
    Black opaque, brown quick head. Coffee aroma and some fruitiness. Good body. Very nice porter flavors.

• Wheat Soup
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 10.5 points - Beer #15-1087, at the brewery, July 8, 1995
    Yellow, hazy. Sweet, some lemon (BAH!) Thick, wheaty, clean. Not a Hefe at all. Served with lemon.
