My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
14.5 points overall
Buffalo Nutty Brown
Style 4 - Mild / Brown Ale
- 14 points - Beer #29-2410, at the brewery, February 28, 1998
Red-brown, good head, moderate carbonation. Very faintly roasty aroma. Pretty sweet, a little roasty, finishes sweet.
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
- 15 points - Beer #29-2409, at the brewery, February 28, 1998
Amber-brown, fairly high carbonation, thick head. Faintly spicy aroma. Lots of spicy hop flavor, medium body. Doesn't last long.
Four Sheets Cream Ale
Style 16 - American Lager
- 15.5 points - Beer #29-2408, at the brewery, February 28, 1998
Darkish golden, moderate carbonation, good head. Malty sweet aroma. High carbonation, pretty sweet. Bitter early and a short malty finish.
Style 21 - Fruit / Vegetable Beer
- 13 points - Beer #29-2412, at the brewery, February 28, 1998
Pink red hazy, with a pink head. Smells like Hi-C. Tastes like tart fizzy Hi-C, or raspberry soda.
McLaren's Wee Heavy Stout
Style 11 - Stout
- 14.5 points - Beer #29-2411, at the brewery, February 28, 1998
Brown-black, OK head. Smells like roasted coffee beans. Thick, pretty flat, pretty sweet. It's advertised as "Guinness-style", but Brian called it Murphy's...he's right.
