Formerly located in Carmel, Carmel Brewing merged with Sausalito's United Brewing Group in 1998. Carmel's brands will be brewed at Mendocino Brewing in Ukiah CA.

Amber Ale (bottled)
Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale

Red, moderate carbonation, good head. Some caramel aroma. Sweet, bitter, not quite balanced. Bitter hop flavor in finish.

Red clear. OK carbonation, good head. Caramel and hop aromas. Pretty malty, pretty hoppy too. Finishes clean.

Yellow, very high carbonation and head. Nutty aroma. Thick, nutty, wheat flavor. Almost tastes like a rye beer.
