Bill Owens sold this place in September 1993, when it reopened under new management, but kept the same name.

My Opinion Of The Beers That I've Tried:
11.5 points overall

• Buffalo Amber
  Style 4 - Mild / Brown Ale
  • 11.5 points - Beer #1-96, at the brewery, June 27, 1993
    Same color as Buffalo Brew - maybe a little darker. Proper head this time. Aroma not pronounced. Faint malt and hops, but hard to identify. Bitter, chewy. Much nicer, although astringency is still too high. OK, wouldn't make a habit of it.

• Buffalo Brew
  Style 6 - American-style Pale Ale
  • 9 points - Beer #1-95, at the brewery, June 27, 1993
    Red. Big bubbles on top of thick head. Smells sort of like iced tea! Fair body. Bitter (OK), astringent (not OK). Benign.

• Buffalo Stout
  Style 11 - Stout
  • 13.5 points - Beer #1-97, at the brewery, June 27, 1993
    Black. Thick brown head. "House scent". Alcohol and not much else. Smooth. Very vaguely reminiscent of Guinness: sour but not overly so. Not particularly burnt. Not a bad stout. Needs more "stout-like" aromas and flavors, though.
