Trappist Double (bottled)
Style 2 - Belgian / French Ale
- 19 points - Beer #32-2625, Sam's Liquors, Chicago IL, April 3, 1998
Red opaque, thick head. Smells spicy, with some alcohol. Very high carbonation, medium body. Lots of caramel malt flavor, quite a bit of banana, and a face full of tongue-drying alcohol. Some oxidation in the middle.

Golden, thick head. Smells real oxidized. Tastes like cardboard, a little sour. This bottle is Real Old.
