    Beautiful deep red-brown color, thick head. Dark caramel aroma with hints of licorice and dark rye bread. Light body, dark and sweet.

• Skull Splitter Ale (bottled)
  Style 8 - Scottish Ale
  • 18 points - Beer #33-2750, Sam's Liquors, Chicago IL, April 24, 1998
    Red, moderate carbonation, low head. Smoky aroma, like bacon...like a Rauchbier. Big smoke flavor, fairly sweet, eternal smoke finish. 8.5% ABV.
