Best Breweries and Beer Bars Inside Las Vegas Casino Resorts

Vegas is not exactly known as a craft beer town, most of the strip is domestic-lager-in-a-plastic-cup territory. But a handful of casino resorts actually take beer seriously, including one with a working brewery on site. Here is where to go if you want a real pint between hands.

Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery, Main Street Station

The rare case of an actual working brewery inside a casino. Main Street Station, on Fremont Street downtown, has brewed its own beer on site at Triple 7 for years, house lagers and ales made a few dozen feet from the tables. It is also one of the few Vegas casino bars where the beer is the point, not an afterthought, and the downtown/Fremont setting is a lot less overwhelming than the main strip if you want to actually sit and taste what you are drinking.

What to order at Triple 7
  • High Roller Gold, the brewery’s most popular pour, a light golden ale, ABV around 5.0%.
  • Black Chip Porter, full-bodied with roasted malt and a hint of chocolate, ABV around 4.3%.
  • Royal Red Lager, a Vienna-style lager balanced with noble hops, ABV around 4.5%.
  • Black Cherry Stout (when it’s on the rotating Brewmaster Special list), a Great American Beer Festival medal winner from Triple 7’s early years.

Public House at The Venetian

A gastropub inside The Venetian built around a serious beer list, dozens of taps and bottles spanning American craft and imports, alongside food built to go with beer rather than compete with it. Not a brewery, but the depth of the tap list makes it worth a stop if you are staying on that end of the strip and want more options than the standard casino-floor bar menu.

Tonic Sports Bar, Palms Casino Resort

Palms Casino Resort’s sports bar leans into a solid beer and cocktail menu alongside the usual big-screen sports setup, a good option if your casino night doubles as a game-watching session. It is a more low-key stop than the mega-resort bars on the main strip, worth knowing about if you are staying off-strip near the Palms.

Not at a Brewery? What to Order Anyway

Public House and Tonic Sports Bar do not brew their own beer, but both run deep enough tap lists that you can still order well. These are the styles worth chasing if you are not sure where to start.

Planning a Casino-and-Beer Crawl

  • Start downtown, not the strip: Fremont Street venues like Triple 7 are walkable to each other, the strip is not, you will spend half your night in rideshares if you try to hop resort to resort down there
  • Pace yourself against the games, not the clock: a long blackjack or poker session already means hours of slow drinking, save the heavier stops for early in the night
  • Hydrate more than usual: Vegas heat and casino air conditioning both dehydrate you faster than you will notice while you are playing
