Six Fields, the premium beer brand from DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd., has come out of the 2026 World Beer Awards as the most decorated Indian beer brand in the competition, picking up five medals across three distinct beer styles.
The headline result belongs to Six Fields Brute, which won Gold and was named Country Winner in the International Lager category. Six Fields Cult took Silver in the Belgian Style Witbier category, while Six Fields Blanche earned Bronze in the same style group. Six Fields Pilsner rounded out the haul with Bronze in the Hoppy Pilsner category.
Prem Dewan, Chairman and Managing Director of DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd., framed the results as validation of the brand’s approach to quality across styles. “Five medals across three distinct beer styles, including Gold and Country Winner recognition for Six Fields Brute, is a strong validation of the excellent quality of our beers,” Dewan said. “The Indian beer consumer is evolving and is becoming more curious about styles, flavours and the experience around beers, and DeVANS is moving with the times across all beer styles to give the Indian consumer its due. These awards are proof that India can create beers with a distinctive point of view, at par with the best in the world.”
The results add to a broader trend of Indian beer brands being evaluated across a wider international range of styles rather than being judged solely on domestic lager categories, according to the report on the results.
